# (G19) New Life Rule

When your character respawns at a hospital, you have no memory of the events that led to your death or incapacitation. You retain knowledge of friends, vehicles, houses, and stashes, but any feud or situation that caused your respawn is considered over. Relationships directly responsible for your respawn (e.g., friendships or romances) end and cannot continue immediately, though they can be rekindled with consent over time.

**Key points:**

* A new life begins after respawning, unless staff explicitly informs you otherwise in clear RDM/RVDM cases.
* You cannot return to the location or situation that caused your death for at least 15 minutes.
* While downed, you must roleplay injuries realistically without referencing timers.
* After being revived, you must continue roleplaying your injuries and cannot enter combat for 15 minutes unless forced by an aggressor.
* Exceptions to the 15-minute rule apply for defending key locations (e.g., HMP Bolingbroke, police stations, gang clubhouses/compounds).

This keeps it concise while covering NLR, injuries, and restrictions on re-entering situations.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://britishrp.gitbook.io/britishrp/fivem-rules/g19-new-life-rule.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
